As a food additive, it can effectively delay the rancidity of food; in the petroleum industry, it is an excellent antioxidant for various lubricants, secondary processed gasoline, paraffin and some other mineral oils; especially as an antioxidant and stabilizer for food-grade plastics and polymer materials for packaging food, as well as white or light-colored products of natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
